Are you at risk for developing type 2 diabetes? The YMCA of Greater Kansas City Community Integrated Health Department is excited to announce 3 new Diabetes Prevention Classes starting across the KC Metro in the several next weeks.

The YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program is a year-long program divided into 16 weekly sessions, 3 bi-weekly sessions, and 6 monthly sessions. Each session is 1 hour in length and led by a trained lifestyle coach where you and a group of 8-15
individuals will discuss healthy eating, physical activity, and how to stay motivated to make a lifestyle change to prevent or reduce your risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
