Believe - Wisdom Wednesday
“…the hardest part is believing even when you fail and getting back on the starting line…”
~~~~Eliud Kipchoge~~~~
I can honestly say that I would not enjoy running as much as I do if it were not for great podcasts and apps like the Nike Run app. I have learned so much from so many great people as I jog on the treadmill, trails, and roads. Today’s words of wisdom come from the great Eliud Kipchoge. I heard this during the “Run with Eliud,” and it filled my heart with joy. These words of wisdom are from a man who believes that “no human is limited”. This goes back to my firm belief in the wisdom from Coach Bennet that every finish line is a starting line in disguise. You may not cross the finish line having achieved the goal you initially set out to attain. However, you crossed that line and now you are ready to start the next part of your journey armed with the wisdom from your prior run.
The race you ran yesterday has made you a stronger athlete for the race ahead today and in the days ahead. Every new day, every new goal and every new adventure is a new starting line. Run the mile you are in today. Refresh, recover, assess your lessons learned and prepare to cross your next starting line.
Believe in yourself. You can do it.
Be well,
Daphne
