šŸ™ Today, I am grateful for meeting wonderful members of the community who were open to discussing ā€œā€¦let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy foodā€¦ā€

šŸ˜„ The highlight of my day was spending time with the PCRM and Food for Life team at the Union Temple Baptist Church. I love spending time in the community talking about plant-based, plant-positive nutrition. The Minister of Wellness was the keynote today and the church as packed.

šŸ’ŖšŸ¾ My movement win of the day was a treadmill warm up and short trail run. I was on the move to get to the church on time.

šŸŒ± My nutrition win of the day was finishing up my lasagna and sweet potatoes from Whole Harvest

šŸ¤— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was ā€œaspire to inspireā€

šŸ¤Æ My stressors for the day were overcome by pausing, breathing, thinking and then checking in before I responded.

šŸ˜“ Sleep time last night was 6 hours.

šŸ™ Today, I am grateful for my integrity.

šŸ˜„ The highlight of my day was welcoming some new Titans to the team!

šŸ’ŖšŸ¾ My movement win of the day was putting on my racing shoes for a walk that turned into a run/jog. Yes, happy feet!! I struggle to just walk when happy feet start trotting, lol! It was nice to wave to the bus drivers again; I have been away for several weeks and I miss my morning crew.

šŸŒ± My nutrition win of the day was trying the Lasagna from Whole Harvest. It was tasty. I could not finish it all. I am not a big pasta eater so this will be my lunch tomorrow too.

šŸ¤— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was to focus on the controllable. I really do believe that ā€œEverything is Figureoutable.ā€

šŸ™ Today, I am grateful for the kindess and generosity of others.

šŸ˜„ The highlight of my day was getting back into my gym / run routine.

šŸ’ŖšŸ¾ My movement win of the day was a little upper body and a post workout jog.

šŸŒ± My nutrition win of the day was trying a tasty meal from Whole Harvest. Thank you Cindy Hooker, for sharing how much you enjoy them. They are tasty, WFPB, oil free meals. If you attended the retreat you received a coupon with a special code in your swag bag.

šŸ¤— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was being methodical to avoid missing anything important while also trying to get a lot done.

šŸ¤Æ My stressors for the day were overcome by taking deep breaths and trying not to grind my teeth! šŸ˜Š

šŸ™ Today, I am grateful for being a part of the most amazing Coaching team.

šŸ˜„ The highlight of my day was chatting with some of our amazing VSA community members. Thank you for being so generous with your time to day.

šŸ’ŖšŸ¾ My movement win of the day was a wonderful run on the W&OD. I warmed up on the treadmill then hit the road. This is the first time in ages that I didnā€™t run walk. Despite several b2b nights of suboptimal sleep I felt light on my feet, minimal achilles discomfort and got into zone 2 and stayed there. It was so energizing!

šŸŒ± My nutrition win of the day was a little bit of everything. Edamame as a snack. A salad to break my fast. Some orzo and meatballs for dinner. Some tofu strips as a snack.

šŸ¤— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was

šŸ¤Æ My stressors for the day were overcome byā€¦still deep breathing with some occasional pacing on the treadmill.

šŸ˜“ Sleep time last night was 4.8 hours

šŸ™ Today, I am grateful for being able to sleep in my own bed! I love traveling but there is nothing like snuggling into your own space.

šŸ˜„ The highlight of my day was some wonderful calls with my Titan buddies. We all returned home excited and energized.

šŸ’ŖšŸ¾ My movement win of the day was a morning run. My Garmin watch is not tracking distance. Arrrgghhh! What is wrong with it? I canā€™t figure it out. So sad. So tracking distance on the Nike Run App.

šŸŒ± My nutrition win of the day was it was SO nice to resume my morning routine. I made my salad dressing and a huge salad. I did not have time to shop but I had some meatballs in the freezer and rice.

šŸ¤— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was triage and execute.

šŸ¤Æ My stressors for the day were overcome by multiple, multiple deep breaths.

šŸ˜“ Sleep time last night was 3.5 hoursā€¦.late night. Not a red eye but it was late getting into DCA.

šŸ™ Today, I am grateful for heroes. I still remember where I was and what I was doing on 9/11. My thoughts and prayers are with all those who list their lives that day and for those first responders who continue to bear the burden of their heroic efforts.

šŸ˜„ The highlight of my day was listening to Dr Gregerā€™s new talk based on his new book ā€œHow Not to Ageā€

šŸ’ŖšŸ¾ My movement win of the day was an NRC speech run. I have not done a speed run in weeks!

šŸŒ± My nutrition win of the day was not good! Airline food is not fun. Why is there milk in pretzels? I sustained myself on some SkinnyPopšŸ˜”

šŸ¤— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was ā€œeverything is figureoutableā€. I have this sign in my office and living room. I reflect on this every time I encounter a challenge that seems overwhelming.

šŸ¤Æ My stressors for the day were overcome by deep sighs.

šŸ˜“ Sleep time last night was
